Happy Blogoversary to me. Again.

I started this blog on a whim on the 26th January 2011, a week before my twins were born. I expected it to be something I would do while I worked out what I would be doing next, and somewhere to practice my writing.

I did not expect to be sitting here two years later. In a good way. 

For me, blogging is addictive and fun. You either understand it, embrace it and love it, or you don't get it at all. I have been fortunate in connecting with some rather brilliant people over this last two years. Many of them I have never met in person and probably never will. This year I have been fortunate enough to be able to go to a tweet-up and to BlogCamp, where I have put faces (and real names) to fellow bloggers and tweeters. All very normal looking, unimpressive to the naked eye (just like me), yet hiding a multitude of talents, and sparkling wit. I love each and every one of them, even the barking ones. 

No super giveaways this year to mark my blogoversary, nor a genius carnival (and last year's was genius if I do say so myself), but a little note to say......

Thank you for reading, for subscribing, for listening to my sometimes odd ramblings on Twitter, and even for volunteering your email address so my often painful attempts of writing go direct to your inbox. I will try to be a better writer this year for your sakes.
